The Chronicle of Higher Education has published data on Executive Compensation at Public and Private Colleges. “The Chronicle‘s executive-compensation package includes the latest data on more than 1,400 chief executives at more than 600 private colleges from 2008-16 and nearly 250 public universities and systems from 2010-18.”

Baylor University president Kenneth W. Starr tops the list at $4,946,996.
